Issue
Some users in the destination contain a userID value of JIRAUSERXXXX rather than username in the USER
table.
Environment
Connector: Jira
Resolution
Check the Jira version used in your organization. If the Jira version is earlier than v8.2, please raise a ticket with the Fivetran Support team.
For Jira versions later than v8.2, Atlassian has changed the format of the user key to comply with GDPR regulations. For new users in the Jira platform, the user key is in the format JIRAUSERXXXX.
Note: Existing users created in Jira's older version will have a username in the userID field.
Cause
Atlassian has made this change to comply with GDPR regulations and reduce the number of places where users’ personal data is stored. You can read more about the change in Atlassian's Documentation.
