What is a Rollback sync?

Resolution

Rollback sync extracts data from a set window of time in the past (e.g., last 7 days) to check for updates made to already existing records in the warehouse.

Cause

All applications which generate reports contain metrics like impressions, clicks, views, likes, etc. These are revised over a period of time using the application's algorithm to optimize the data they provide to users. To accommodate this, the connectors perform rollback syncs frequently.
