Issue

It's not possible to authorize the Jira connector. Attempts fail with the error, HTTP 401 - Unauthorized error.

While checking in the Java console the error, Unable to fetch request token, appears.

Environment

Resolution

Try following the below steps if you are not able to authorize the connector after multiple attempts :

1. Delete Incoming Authorization on your Jira Application Link.
2. Reconfigure the same.
3. Click Re-Authorize Connection in Fivetran.

Cause

The following appears in the application log which means the source is rejecting the tokens being sent.
