There are duplicate records that show the same values in each column.

Connector: Google Ads

Resolution

The _fivetran_id column identifies unique records.

To see Google values that differ for the same rows, follow the steps below:

1. Create a new report.

2. Configure the report to include [report_type].resource_name columns.

   Example: For the campaign report, include the campaign.resource_namecolumn.

Cause

The cause of the perceived duplicate is due to a Google Ads feature - Implicit Segmentation. This may produce report rows with the same set of attributes/segments and different (or even the same) metrics.

Based on the fields you have configured, the records appear to be duplicated.
