Question
Why do we see long-running syncs for our HubSpot connector?
Environment
Connector: HubSpot
Answer
The Hubspot connector re-imports certain tables based on the amount of data that is retrieved from the AP. It also re-imports certain tables at regular time intervals. When these re-imports are occurring in the sync, it will cause longer sync times. The variation in re-imports in the day results in different sync lengths in one day, or from one day to another.
To understand more about these re-imports, check out Hubspot's Documentation.
To See This In Your Sync Bar
You can observe this behavior by choosing the 1-week bar on the connector dashboard. Here you will be able to see the daily occurrence and that the amount of data ingested is more than other incremental syncs on the same day.
To See This In Your Logs
Query the logs for "records_modifed". This will allow you to see the number of rows updated, allowing you to see the tables that are impacted by the longer sync times.
