Question

Fivetran exports Braze users using the users/export/segment endpoint available in Braze's API. Do Braze users need to manually create a segment that targets all users or does Fivetran create this automatically in Braze?

Answer

For all users to be present in the response of the users/export/segment endpoint, each user must be included in a segment. As Fivetran does not modify data at the source, additional segments must be created manually in Braze.

Any users which are not included in a segment will not be fetched.
