Fivetran offers a managed warehouse service to make it even easier to get your data stack up and running. We use Google BigQuery when we setup and maintain your data warehouse.
Users often find this service beneficial in the following scenarios:
- Trial sandbox account or pilot program
- Minimize vendor contracts
- Offload management of their warehouse
Log in to Fivetran.
In the new connector setup wizard, select I don’t have a destination from the Select a destination drop-down menu.
On the Connect Destination page, read the information about Fivetran’s managed BigQuery warehouse option. Click I understand to proceed.
On the BigQuery setup page, select a dataset location, data processing location, and timezone. Click Save.
When your changes have been successfully saved, click Continue to finish your connector setup.
Adding Data Connectorslink
Add connectors as you would with any warehouse. In the Fivetran dashboard, go to the
Integrations section and click
Connecting BI Toolslink
For managed warehouse users, a section will appear in the Fivetran dashboard called
BI Tools. Click
New BI Tool to connect your tool.
Currently Fivetran has connectors for Looker, Tableau, Sisense, Periscope, Chartio, and Google Data Studio. If you would like to connect a different tool, please contact Fivetran support.
At any time you can ask Fivetran support to transfer the managed BigQuery project to a Google Account of your choice.
