I have a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution. How can I enable it to upkeep our connectors' passwords?

Answer

You can create a script using our REST API to enable your PAM solution to update the passwords for your connectors.

You will need to obtain your API credentials.

Next, you will need to make the following API calls:

1. Obtain the group id. This is where all connectors are located that you need to update the password.

2. Obtain the connector id for all connectors.
   • https://fivetran.com/docs/rest-api/groups#listallconnectorswithinagroup 
3. Modify the connector password using this Patch request:
   • https://fivetran.com/docs/rest-api/connectors#modifyaconnector
