I have a process in Salesforce that temporarily creates records and then deletes them in seconds, minutes, or days afterward. Are these records captured by Fivetran?

Temporarily created records are captured by Fivetran.

Salesforce soft-deletes and hard-deletes records. During a sync cycle, Fivetran gets both soft-deleted and hard-deleted records. If Salesforce hard-deletes a record, Fivetran will mark the is_deleted field as true. If the is_deleted field does not exist, Fivetran will mark the _fivetran_deleted field as true.
